Intermittent fault








- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the control module connector.




Check the cable between control module connector #45 and collision sensor connector #1.
Take a reading for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Also check the ground lead between control module connector #20 and collision sensor connector #2.
Test for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
