Condition




The immobilizer control module monitors contact with the starter motor relay for faults in the first two seconds after the ignition is switched on. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-335 is stored if the control module detects a fault.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is erased when the counter value is 254.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable between control module terminal #2 and starter motor relay connector terminal #2.

Fault symptom[s]
- The indicator lamp on the combined instrument panel lights.
- Engine does not start. (Starter motor does not operate.)
