Fault-tracing information
The cause of the fault was a temporary disruption of communication or that the engine control module (ECM) installed in the car did not correspond to the immobilizer control module it is programmed.

Select Continue.

Check which fault source corresponds with the circumstances.
1. A new immobilizer control module has been installed in the car.
2. A engine control module (ECM) not intended for the engine in the car has been installed.

Select one of the following options to continue.

1 - Initiating the immobilizer control module

2 - Wrong type of engine control module (ECM)

The incorrect engine selection was made when initiating the control module. Try a new control module according to Immobilizer control module Immobilizer Control Module.
Initiate the immobilizer control module according to Immobilizer control module, initiating Immobilizer Control Module, Initiating.

Select Continue.

Wrong type of engine control module (ECM)

Hint: If the problem occurred when another engine control module (ECM) was installed, the immobilizer will not recognize the MIN code. For technical reasons the engine control module (ECM) from another engine type cannot be used for repairs.

Check carefully that the engine control module (ECM) is the correct one for the engine type.

- Switch the ignition off and on.
- Erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
Try to start the car.
