Read off the central locking switch status when the switch is unaffected.
The value should be HIGH.





Is the value HIGH?

Yes - Intermittent fault

No - Checking the central locking switch

- Remove the central locking switch from the dashboard
- Disconnect the central locking switch.
Read off the central locking switch status.
If the value is now HIGH it means that the central locking switch is defective.





Is the value HIGH?

Yes - Replacing the component

No - Checking the wiring

Try a new central locking switch.

Check the cable between the control module terminal #A4 and central locking switch terminal #3 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault.
