- Ignition off.
- Remove the passenger side loudspeaker grille on the dashboard.
- Check that there is a microphone connected.
- Check the microphone connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
