Intermittent fault, signal too low

Checking cables
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 44 and heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) terminal 4 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground and remedy according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
If no fault can be found in the above fault-tracing try a new heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
