Signal too high. Intermittent fault

Checking the connectors








- Ignition off
- Check the idle air control (IAC) valve and throttle position (TP) sensor connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault. Check for damage carefully
- Check the throttle body (TB) for play between the throttle spindle and the throttle position (TP) sensor according to Replacing throttle position (TP) sensor Service and Repair
- Check the intake system for air leakage according to intake system/leak test Intake System/Leak Test
- Remedy as necessary.
