Checking components and wiring




- Ignition off.
Check that the resistance between idle air control (IAC) valve terminals 1 and 2 is approximately 10 ohms at +20°C.
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 64 and idle air control (IAC) valve terminal 2 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. Remedy according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
