Checking components and wiring
Check that the resistance between relay terminals 1 and 2 is approximately 75 ohms at +20°C.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 38 (half speed), terminal 8 (full speed), terminal 69 (air conditioning (A/C) cooling fan) and relay terminal 2 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage and remedy according to Checking wiring and terminals.
