Signal missing. Intermittent fault

Checking cables
Check the engine control module (ECM) and canister purge (CP) valve connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check that the resistance in the canister purge (CP) valve between terminals 1 and 2 is approximately 30 ohms at +20°C.
Check and rectify the signal line between Engine control module (ECM) #4 and the EVAP-valve's connection #1 for intermittent open circuits.
Check the voltage cable between the EVAP-valve's connection #2 and the system relay (2/14) connection #3 for intermittent open circuits.
