Signal too low. Intermittent fault

Checking components and wiring
Check that the resistance in the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) preheating element, measured between probe terminals 1 and 2, is approximately 5-10 ohms at +20° C.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 63 and heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) terminal 2 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. Remedy according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring And Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
