Status check
- Raise the car so that the wheels are accessible
- Start the engine and select a gear or rotate one of the front wheels by hand.
Check that the speedometer is operating correctly.
Note! If the car is equipped with anti-spin equipment, disengage it using the button.

Check the signal cable between ABS control module terminal #14 and combined instrument panel terminal #B16 (#A46). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.
