Checking transmission speed signal

- Ignition off.
- Raise car so that front wheels rotate freely.
- Remove the front wheels during the test.
- Engine idling.
- Go into scrolling values.
- Read off the transmission input speed.
- Shift the gear selector to position D so that the front wheels begin to rotate.
Check that the transmission input speed is updated. The transmission input speed should increase with engine speed.

Note! Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) may be stored in the ABS system when the rear wheels are stationary and the front wheels rotate. Erase any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the ABS system after fault-tracing.

Note! Ensure that the front wheels are stationary when the gear selector is moved.
