- Go into scrolling values.
- Read off transmission oil temperature.
Check that the transmission oil temperature is within its permitted range. Compare with the temperature of the transmission itself.

- Disconnect gray 2-pin transmission connector. For further information about connectors, see Transmission connectors Transmission Connectors.
Connect an ohmmeter between the gray 2-pin transmission connector terminal 2 (transmission side) and transmission housing.
Does the ohmmeter read infinite resistance?

- Gray 2-pin transmission connector disconnected.
Connect an ohmmeter between the gray 2-pin transmission connector terminals 1 and 2 (transmission side).
Compare the temperature below with the transmission temperature at the oil temperature sensor.
Does the ohmmeter show correct value? (See table)

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may have been caused by the transmission being subjected to high loads and high temperatures. Therefore it is important to change the oil and check the operation of the transmission.
