Checking the control module




- Ignition on.
Test drive the car according to Test driving Test Driving.
Stop the car. Do not switch off the ignition.
Read off the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status.









Is the status permanent?

Yes - Replacing the component

No - Fault-tracing information

- Ignition off.
Try a new control module according to Replacing the ABS control module Replacing The ABS Control Module , Section 5 (50-59), Brakes. 1996-.





Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.
