Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-231 or SRS-241 is stored if the resistance in the wiring circuit is too low for more than 3 seconds.

Possible source
- Short-circuit in connectors or in signal cable between driver's or passenger seat belt tensioner and control module.
- Short-circuit in the driver's or passenger seat belt tensioner (resistance too low in the igniter).

Fault symptom[s]
- No fault symptoms except that the SRS indicator lamp lights.

Warning! There is a risk that the seat belt tensioner will not function if this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
