Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-232 or SRS-242 is stored if resistance is too high in the wiring circuit for more than 3 seconds.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or open-circuit in cable between the driver's or passenger seat belt tensioner and control module.
- Open-circuit in the driver's or passenger seat belt tensioner (resistance too high in the igniter).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp lights

Warning! There is a risk that the seat belt tensioner will not function if this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
