4TH Gear, Selector Lever In Position D
Fourth gear is engaged automatically in 3rd gear position, reducing the ratio from 1:1 to 0.705:1 for the AW 30-40.
When the gear is selected, brake B0 is applied and locks the sun wheel in overdrive.
The planet is forced to rotate around the sun wheel, increasing the speed of the ring gear P0 in overdrive above the engine speed. This speed is transmitted to clutch C1 in the transmission.
The power is transmitted further to the output shaft in the same manner as in third gear
