Checking Blocked Injectors





Checking Spark Plugs
- Check spark plug color.

NOTE: It is vital that the correct spark plugs are used, see parts catalogue for P/N. Check the spark gap of new plugs before they are fitted. Spark gap should be 0.7 - 0.8 mm (0.028 - 0.032 in).

- Is any spark plug lighter than the others?

Yes:
^ Proeed to: Checking Injector section below.

No:
^ Replace all spark plugs.
^ Proceed to: Checking Compression.





Checking Injector
If a spark plug is lighter than the others its cylinder may be getting too little fuel.

- Try a new injector.
- Replace all spark plugs.

- Proceed to: Checking Residual Pressure.
