Central Locking

Operating switch
The operating switch is integral with the locking modules in both front doors.

The operating switch is of the 3-way monostable type (resting position in center only), and has a grounded incoming signal lead and two outgoing leads which control the central locking relay via a grounding signal for locking and unlocking respectively.

The position of the operating switch is controlled exclusively by the doorkey when locking or unlocking.

The trunk locking module (4-door models) has a 2-way alternating operating switch which only controls the basic alarm via the central locking relay when activating and deactivating.

The operating switch only emits a grounding signal in the unlocked position.

Five-door models have no operating switch in the tailgate.
