Central Locking Modules

The central locking system has central locking modules located in the doors and trunk/tailgate

Components unique to the central locking modules are
- central locking motor.
- microswitches fitted to the driver's door locking modules which provide control signals to lock or unlock the central locking system.

The operating switch signals also activate/deactivate the basic alarm and interior lighting.

The rear doors are fitted with child safety locks and the tailgate in 5-door models is fitted with a child safety catch. These are used when you do not want the rear doors or tailgate to be opened from inside.
