Trouble Code Condition(s)
- Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-616 (EVAP canister shut-off valve, signal) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the EVAP canister shut-off valve coil or wiring.

Substitute Value(s)
- Leakage diagnostic is disabled.

Possible Source(s)
Signal too high:
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in signal cable.
- Defective EVAP canister shut-off valve.

Signal too low:
- Short-circuit to ground in signal cable.

Signal missing:
- Open-circuit in signal or power cable.
- Defective EVAP canister shut-off valve.

Fault symptom(s)
- None.
- Start fault tracing. Signal Too High. Permanent Fault
