Trouble Code Conditions





Trouble Code Condition(s)
- The EVAP canister shut-off valve is open and the fuel tank system is vented. The canister purge (CP) valve is pulsed and because of the vacuum in the intake manifold the engine starts to suck air through the EVAP canister.
- Because the EVAP canister shut-off valve is open the pressure in the fuel tank will start to drop slowly, if the pressure in the fuel tank drops too rapidly diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-614 (EVAP canister shut-off valve, flow fault) is stored.

- Blocked/sticking EVAP canister shut-off valve.
- Blocked EVAP canister shut-off valve filter.
- Blocked hose between EVAP canister and EVAP canister shut-off valve.
- Blocked hose between EVAP canister shut-off valve and filter.
- Blocked EVAP canister shut-off valve hose connector on EVAP canister
- Leaking canister purge valve.
- The fuel tank pressure sensor transmits a signal lower than -1000 Pa (-0.15 psi).
