Trouble Code Conditions
- Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-536 Ignition discharge module (IDM) group E is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the air conditioning (A/C) relay circuit or circuits to the ignition coils for cylinders 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Substitute value(s)
- The ignition discharge module is disabled for as long as the fault is present.

Possible source(s)
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in one of the signal cables to the ignition discharge modules for cylinders 3, 4, 5 and 6.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in air conditioning relay signal cable.
- Defective air conditioning relay.
- Short-circuit in engine control module.
- Defective ignition discharge module.

Fault symptom(s)
- Engine does not start, depending on fault source.
- Air conditioning does not work, depending on fault source.
