Checking Cables And Terminals
- Check cable between ignition discharge module (IDM) 4/38 terminal 2 and engine control module (ECM) # B11 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Check cable between ignition discharge module 4/39 terminal 5 and engine control module # B13 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Check cable between engine cooling fan (FC) relay connector B terminal 2 and engine control module # A22 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage and an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
- Check cable between combined instrument panel # B11 and engine control module # B7 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage and an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
- Check cable between engine control module # B12 and transmission control module (TCM) # B12 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Proceed to: Fault-tracing Information section below.

Fault-tracing Information
For intermittent faults fault-tracing is not followed by a verification because the fault is not present at this moment.

- Do you want to repeat fault-tracing?

Yes:
^ Proceed to: Checking Cables And Terminals section above.
