Signal Too Low. Permanent Fault

Checking For A Short-circuit
- Check cable between fuel pump (FP) relay terminal 4 and engine control module (ECM) # B19 for a short-circuit to ground.
- Proceed to: Verification section below.





Verification
After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:

- Ignition OFF.
- Fuel pump relay and engine control module connected.
- Ignition ON.
- Activate fuel pump.
- A clicking sound should be heard from the fuel pump relay when it is activated.

If reading is OK:
^ Fault corrected.

If reading is incorrect:

Yes:
