Trouble Code Conditions
- Monitoring of the EVAP system function begins about 17 minutes after the engine has been started, and takes place when the engine is idling. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-315 is stored if the idle air control (IAC) valve idle air trim and short term fuel trim do not need to make any adjustments to compensate for EVAP valve activation.

Substitute value(s)
- Twin heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) control disabled.
- The electrical test of the heated oxygen sensors is disabled.

Possible source(s)
- Blocked EVAP canister.
- Blocked hoses.
- Defective canister purge (CP) valve (permanently open or closed).

Fault symptom(s)
- Fuel odor from EVAP canister (in hot climate)
- High idling speed (open valve).
