Checking Hoses And Connectors
- Check that the hose between the canister purge (CP) valve and intake manifold is not blocked or pinched.
- Check that the hose between the canister purge valve and EVAP canister is not blocked or pinched.
- Check that the EVAP canister connections are not blocked.
- Check the canister purge valve for dirt and deposits.
- Try to activate the canister purge valve to check its function.
- If no faults are detected, try a new canister purge valve.
