Signal Sporadic. Intermittent Fault

Checking Cables and Terminals
- Check outside temperature sensor and/or engine control module (ECM) connectors for loose connections and contact resistance and oxidation.
- Check cable between outside temperature sensor terminal 1 and engine control module # A35 for an intermittent open-circuit, an intermittent short-circuit to ground and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Check cable between outside temperature sensor terminal 2 and engine control module # A18 for an intermittent open-circuit and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
