Checking Cables and Terminals
- Check injector and/or engine control module (ECM) connectors for loose connections, contact resistance and oxidation.
- Check cable between injector terminal 1 and main relay (2/32) terminal 3 for an intermittent open-circuit.
- Check cable between injector connector terminal 2 and engine control module (ECM) # A10 (EFI-115), # A24 (EFI-125), # A23 (EFI-135), # A43 (EFI-145), # A38 (EFI-155), # A9 (EFI-165) for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
