3-1-4 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL





Trouble Code Conditions
- Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-314 is stored after 5 seconds on the next attempt to start the engine if the engine control module (ECM) does not receive a signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor for 2 engine revolutions.

Substitute value(s)
- Double ignition.
- Double injection.

Possible source(s)
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in signal cable.
- Open-circuit in signal cable, power cable or ground lead.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective camshaft position sensor.

- None.
