1-3-5 INJECTOR FAULT





Trouble Code Conditions
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for that injector is stored if there is a short-circuit to ground/supply voltage in an injector circuit or if there is an open-circuit.

Substitute value(s)
- Idle air trim disabled.
- Fuel trim disabled.

Possible source(s)
Signal too high
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in signal cable.
- Defective injector.

Signal too low
- Short-circuit to ground in signal cable.

Signal missing
- Open-circuit in signal or power cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective injector.

Fault symptom(s)
- Engine not firing on all cylinders. The engine may not start.
