Removing three-way union





- Remove tank pressure sensor from tank.

- Remove three-way union from tank pressure sensor (1).

- Remove three-way union from EVAP hose (2).

- Cut the connection between three-way union and tank. A =15 mm (9/16") from the end of the hose. Discard old three way union.

Do not slit the hose

^ Cut the boss off the roll-over valve.

Installing a new three-way union

Lubricate roll-over valve connection with part number 1161580.

Note!
The specified lubricant 1161580 MUST be used when installing the new hose over the old cut off end. The lubricant will have a certain adhesive effect, while drying out, which ensures a tight seal.

Install:





- Three-way union to roll-over valve (1) using clamp.

- Three-way union to tank pressure sensor (2) using clamp. Turn the clamp so that it cannot interfere with anything.

- Tank pressure sensor on tank.

- Three-way union to EVAP hose (3).

- Carefully pull lightly on hose to ensure that coupling is locked on fitting
