Checking oil quality




- Ignition off.
Check the oil by taking a sample with the dipstick.
Alternatives:
1. Oil is OK.
2. Oil is discolored or has a burnt smell.
3. Oil contains water (grey discoloration).





Select the appropriate alternative.

1 - No Fault Found

2 - Change

3 - Replacement of component

- Change oil as per.

Press Continue when fault is repaired.

Continue - FAULT FOUND

Replacement of component
- Determine the reason why water is present in the oil.
- Replace transmission as per Gearbox/torque converter, replacing Gearbox/Torque Converter, Replacing.
- Flush oil cooler and oil lines as per Cleaning and inspection Cleaning and Inspection.





Press Continue when fault is repaired.

Continue - FAULT FOUND
