EGR Valve: Application and ID

EGR VALVE
The service-version Positive Temperature Co-efficient (PTC) type EGR valve, is provided with a temperature sensor threaded boss in the valve housing itself (see image).

The new Negative Temperature Co-efficient (NTC) type sensor has a different thread (M10X1.25) to prevent confusion with the PTC-type (1/8" NPTF thread) when installing.
