CABLE ROUTING FIXED SEAT

Operations:

According to the working method below and illustrations B3-B5.

SEAT WITH MECHANICAL BELT TENSIONER (E) (NOT IN NORTH AMERICAN MARKET):

- Route cable (A) from the belt lock through the seat frame outside the side panel if there is one.

SEAT WITH FIXED BELT LOCK (F):

- Route cable (A) from the belt lock through the seat frame inside the side panel if there is one

COMMON:

- Fix cable harness with clamps (P/N 948211-8) to the seat frame and the spring bed.

- Fix the cable harness so that the sharp ends of the springs cannot damage the harness and tightly enough that the harness does not hang down below the seat.

The number of clamps and their location is indicated in the illustration on B3-B5.

- Install the seat in the car in accordance with the description in the Service Manual

CHECK:

- That the seat can run to all its stop positions without damaging the cable and that the cable does not prevent the movement of the seat.

- That all electrical equipment in the seat works.
