Transmitter

The transmitter consists of a radio transmitter which sends a coded signal to the receiver module.

The transmitter should not be used at distances from the car exceeding 5 meters to ensure that reception is sufficient for the receiver to correctly understand the transmitter's signal. The transmitter has two buttons LOCK and UNLOCK.

The transmitter prompts the receiver to send a control signal to the central locking relay for locking (and activating the basic alarm) when the LOCK button is pressed.

The UNLOCK button activates the receiver which sends a control signal to the central locking unit for unlocking (and deactivation of the basic alarm).

The transmitter runs on a 3 V lithium battery type designation CR2025, with an estimated service life of 2 years.

NOTE: On certain markets the Guard Alarm II remote control anti-theft alarm is available which uses a different type of transmitter to operate the central locking system.
