Antitheft Switch

The AT switch consists of a 2-way alternating microswitch and is only fitted to the driver's door central-locking module. The location is shown in the illustration.

The AT switch operates only on locking or unlocking. The door key activates or deactivates the car's alarm system when the key is turned about 20 ° in either direction by sending a ground signal to the central locking relay. This in turn transmits one control signal to the alarm relay. The AT switch wiring is not grounded when it is in standby mode.

The AT switch does not affect the functions of the central locking system.

NOTE: No AT switch is fitted on the locking module in the driver's door on cars without remote control for central locking or alarm.
