Central Locking Motors

The central locking motors in the doors and tailgate are coupled in parallel. These motors are activated via a brief 12 V pulse lasting approximately 0.7 seconds transmitted from the central locking relay.

The two wires on the central locking relay are grounded when the central locking motor is at standby to prevent accidental activation.
