Central Locking Modules

The central locking system has central locking modules located in the doors and the trunk/tailgate. Components unique to the central locking system are:
- Central locking motor.
- Operating switch located in the driver's door central locking module for activating the central locking system.
- AT (Anti-Theft) switch installed in the driver's door central locking module for activating the alarm system using the key.

NOTE No AT switch is lined on the locking module in the driver's door on cars without remote control for central locking or alarm.

Child safety locks are fitted in the rear doors, and in the tailgate on 5-door cars a child safety catch is installed. These are used to stop the rear doors/tailgate being opened from inside the car. For further information, refer to the Owner's Manual.
