Changes and additions to Service Manual

In the above referenced Service Manual, the following changes should be made.

The method for programing new remote control transmitters is to be supplemented and one new illustration inserted. To make it easier to locate topics in the Service Manual index a new line is to be added concerning programming the remote control transmitter.

Please stick the labels from this service bulletin in the Service Manual. When this has been done this bulletin can be discarded.

Programming the remote control transmitter

Programming method:

- Shut all doors, the bonnet and the boot.

- Turn the ignition on and off at least 5 times within 10 seconds, until the alarm LED begins blinking. Leave the ignition on.

The first remote transmitter must be programmed within 15 seconds while the alarm LED is blinking. - Only press one of the two keys on the remote transmitter to be programmed.

An acknowledgement from the alarm LED is indicated by a steady light for approx. 2 seconds and then a blinking light for 10 seconds.

- Program other remote transmitters at a maximum of 10 second intervals while the alarm LED is blinking.

- Turn off the ignition and verify functions on all the remote transmitters.
