Beam adjustment, spoiler-mounted foglights

This service bulletin describes how to check and adjust the foglights on cars beginning model year 1995.

This procedure should be used after installing foglights, during PDS for factory-installed foglights, and whenever adjustment is necessary.

BEAM ADJUSTMENT, SPOILER-MOUNTED FOGLIGHTS

- Park the car on a flat surface. The foglights should shine on a wall directly in front of the car.

- Measure B as between the center point of the foglights and the ground.

Note!
Measure distance (B) on every car since the measurement varies for different cars.

- Adjust the foglights using the adjustment screw in the lower edge of the lamp unit (bottom illustration) so that the light strikes the wall as shown in the upper illustration.

- A = 5 meters (16.4 ft).
C = B - 6O mm (3.5")
