DTM 5 (Reading Out Data)

Inputs:

Use this mode to read out data. This could mean reading out settings for activating the service reminder light or adjustment time, see table. (Link to tables below)

Selecting Test Modes:

- Switch ignition on.
- Select DLC A Terminal 7. General Information
- Push button five times, briefly but firmly. DTM 5 should now be ready for use. When the LED comes on and stays on, the system is ready for entering codes.
- Enter first digit while LED is still on.
- Wait for LED to go out and then come on again before entering second digit
- Enter second digit while LED is on.
- Wait for LED to go out, then come on again. Now enter third digit.
- Read off and note down response codes.
