Checking Brake Fluid Level Sensor





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect brake fluid level sensor.
- Connect a temporary lead between brake fluid level sensor connector terminal 1 and 2.
- Start engine.
- Rev engine up once.

Warning indicator should come on.

- Ignition off.
- Remove temporary lead.

If warning indicator comes on:
- Try another brake fluid level sensor.

If warning indicator does not come on:
- Check lead between brake fluid level sensor connector terminal 1 and dashboard terminal A28 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]

- If lead is OK, try another dashboard.
