Assumptions
- No DTCs.
- Fault is permanent.

Sources of fault
- Low brake fluid level.
- Signal lead short-circuited to ground.
- Faulty brake fluid level sensor.
- Faulty dashboard.
- Faulty charging system.

Warning: If light comes on while driving or when braking, the brake fluid level is too low and the fault must be dealt with before driving the car any further.
