Greasing car door locks

This service bulletin describes how to grease the car door locks and striker plates.
Lack of grease on the car door locks can result in noise. Application of grease to the lock striker and striker plate plastic components eliminates the noise.

Use grease P/N 1161417-9.

GREASING THE STRIKER PLATE




- Coat the plastic components of the striker plate with a thin layer of grease
