Noise from door stops

The door stops can become noisy when the door is opened or closed.

The noise can be minimized by slackening off the mountings and applying thread locking compound P/N 1161053-6 to the screws and tightening them to the following torque:

Tightening torques:

M8 screws in A-post 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs).

M6 screws in door 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs).

Door Stop:

Noise from door stops

- Slacken off the doorstop mountings.

- Apply thread locking to the screws.

- Reinstall door stop.

- Tighten screws to the torque setting given above.
