Diagnostic Trouble Code 1-3-2

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-3-2

Circuit: Brake light circuit to 6S

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-3-2 is obtained when the brake pedal is depressed with the selector set to OFF and terminal 6S goes to battery voltage.

If no trouble code is obtained: start by checking the brake light. Depress the brake pedal. If the brake light illuminates, it shows there is voltage over the brake light switch. Check lead between control module connector 6S and brake light contact.

If the brake light does not illuminate: check fuses, bulbs and voltage at the brake light switch.

Checking voltage at the brake light switch. G1

Voltage feed

Remove knee protector from the driver position. Voltmeter connected between ground and terminal red lead on the brake light switch should show battery voltage.

In the event of a fault: Check wire between fuse holder and brake light switch.

Connect voltmeter between ground and terminal yellow lead on the brake light switch. Depress brake pedal. Voltmeter should show battery voltage.

In the event of a fault:

- Check there is still voltage leading to brake light switch.
- Replace brake light switch.
