Replacement of Right-Hand Headlamp Wiper Motor
B1Remove:
- air ducts to control module box
- washer reservoir filler hose
- plastic cover at rear of headlamp
Lift expansion tank and place on top of engine.

Remove clip and open connector.

Disconnect washer hose from wiper arm. Remove:
- wiper arm
- trim under headlamp
- wiper motor retaining screws (two)

Remove hood lock mounting screws and place lock aside.

Remove direction indicator/parking light. Open connector.

Remove connector. Undo headlamp retaining screws and lift out headlamp.

Loosen front retaining screw of control module box a few turns.
Remove rear retaining screw.
Lift diagnostic units complete with base away from control module box.

Pull control module box towards rear and lift cable duct sufficiently to gain access to wiper motor. Remove wiper motor. Install new motor.
Reinstall components in reverse order.
Note:
Before mounting the wiper arm, check that the motor is in the self-parked position and that the washer hose is not pinched.
The wiper blade must be positioned under the stop when tightening. Lift blade over stop after tightening.
Check operation.
