Replacement of Pre-Heating Thermostat in the Air Cleaner Housing 800

This service bulletin describes the method for replacement of the pre-heating thermostat in the air cleaning housing. This method is not included in the service manuals.
Method:
Remove:
^ Air cleaner cover
^ Air cleaner
Remove thermostat from preheater assembly.
Replacement of Pre-Heating Thermostat:
Press cover plate with thermostat against preheater door and lift in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the old thermostat and install the new thermostat in the cover plate.
Reinstall cover plate and the new thermostat in preheater assembly.
Reinstall:
^ Air cleaner
^ Air cleaner cover
